Boys and Girls Ages 5 – 18 years

Classes are offered to boys and girls from levels 1 – 10. Tumbling classes include trampoline and tumbling training from certified coaches. A variety of training aids enables students to learn skills safely and quickly. Our curriculum is based on the USA Gymnastics Trampoline & Tumbling program.

Beginning Tumbling

This class is for new students. Students will work the fundamentals of tumbling which include forward and backward rolls, cartwheels on both sides, and back bends. On the trampoline: arm circle straight jump, tuck jump, pike jump, straddle jump, seat drop, hands and knees drop.  Strength: pushups, v-snaps, candlestick jumps, handstands.

Intermediate Tumbling

This class is for students who have completed the Beginner Tumbling program. Students work on lever handstand, full lever, pike forward roll, backward roll to front support, backbend kickover, back limber, power hurdle roundoff.  Trampoline: front & back drop, 1/2 turn to seat drop seat drop 1/2 turn to stand, tuck jump to seat drop, jump 1/1 twist, run punch straight jump into pit, and more.  Strength: more reps – pushups, v-snaps, candlestick jumps, handstands.

Advanced Tumbling

This class is for students who have completed the Intermediate Tumbling program. Students will work on lever handstand, HS forward roll, back walkover, bwd roll pike down, back handspring down wedge mat, RO jump back.  Trampoline: tuck jump to front drop, swivel hips, back drop pullover to hands and knees, run punch trampoline jumps into pit, and more.  Strength:  added reps and time.
